The role of a Janitor at our manufacturing facility in Lawrence, KS requires attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual who can ensure the sanitation and organization of our workspace, contributing to a productive and safe environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize work areas, including floors, restrooms, office spaces, and other common areas within the manufacturing facility.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a tidy and hazard-free environment.
- Maintain cleanliness in production areas, ensuring all surfaces are free from dust, debris, and spills.
- Dispose of waste materials and recyclables in designated areas according to company policies.
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and restrooms to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of workspaces as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of proper cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Participate in special cleaning projects as directed by management.
