About the Role :

We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and oversee the activities of our Sales Department. This individual will be responsible for achieving company goals and objectives by professionally representing the company, its products, and its programs to qualified customers and prospects within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Recruit, hire, and train department employees, including sales coordinators, comfort consultants, plumbing sales staff, estimators, and more.
  • Manage and optimize schedules, territories, and performance for regional and local sales teams.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Handle employee disciplinary actions and terminations per company policy.
  • Provide strong leadership and motivation to the sales team to ensure quotas are consistently met.
  • Review and analyze sales and operational data to project sales, identify profitability opportunities, and target new markets.
  • Develop strategies to address customer preferences and direct sales efforts effectively.
  • Assign territories and establish sales quotas for the team.
  • Consult with potential customers to assess their needs and recommend appropriate products, services, or equipment.
  • Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish sales quotas and strategies.
  • Prepare and monitor the sales budget and approve departmental expenses.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings and industry events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and practices.
  • General sales skills with a strong customer service focus, including follow-through on sales matters.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for on-call and after-hours support as needed.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
