Job Overview
The Scheduler and Field Support Representative provides outstanding customer service to customers and facility contacts after the company’s services are sold and projects are handed off to Operations and as projects are set up and scheduled. The Scheduler and Field Support Representative provides support to field service technicians, so they are set up for success from start to finish on a project. This includes but is not limited to scheduling projects, booking travel and hotel accommodations, and sharing important information about the project to the field service technicians, customers and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities (Include But Are Not Limited To)
- Demonstrate respectable customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Have a good rapport with Life Safety Services peers, have knowledge of and accountability for entire project completion process for all assigned customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude.
- Manage project initiation, ensure setup and scheduling are completed promptly so services can commence in short-order resulting in client satisfaction and prompt realization of revenue generated for Life Safety Services.
- Handle customer and business customer problems with professionalism, directing more complex issues seamlessly to management as necessary.
- Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain a well-developed working knowledge of all of the company’s services offered, taking responsibility to keep up to date and request assistance for further development needs when new services are added.
- Refer customers to the appropriate business partner as information is uncovered during business interactions and/or conversations when selling and cross-selling additional services to customers may be helpful.
- Other duties as assigned by Operations management
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, general business, marketing, etc.; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- The ability to interact comfortably and confidently with customers (both verbally and in written form) and comfortable initiating dialogue
- Ability to multi-task; good organizational skills
- Outstanding phone etiquette
- The ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision making and to demonstrate diplomacy and tact in resolving problems
- The ability to work in a team environment and to interact well with customers, co-workers and management
- Attention to detail
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with U.S. geography
- Some experience scheduling travel or coordinating logistics in a professional setting helpful
