Life Safety Services seeks a seasoned sales professional with experience in the life safety or a related services industry to join its Channel Partner Sales Team and effectively cover the Central U.S.
Some Travel Required.
Role and Responsibilities
High energy sales professional--– goal-oriented, success-driven individual with a record of exceeding expectations and earning the rewards of a top sales producer.
Increase LSS service sales in assigned region by growing current channel partner network and establishing strong partner relationships.
Educate channel partners regarding National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 80 codes, all LSS services and value.
Assist channel partners with client sales calls when necessary.
Prepare channel partner proposals when necessary.
Prepare “Master Agreements” for Channel Partners.
Assist channel partners with client service issues when necessary.
Represent Life Safety Services with professional presence. Must be able to present products, services, and value in a compelling and consultative manner. Represent LSS Life Safety Services at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events as necessary. Have the ability to present our value and to educate industry professionals as necessary.
Ensure effective internal communications with sales, customer service, marketing, and operations. Must work consistently and collaboratively with all internal teams.
Occasionally meet with AHJ's to educate them regarding passive fire protection codes.
Maintain the company's contact management database, complete weekly activity update, and meet with management on a regular basis to ensure performance, strategy, and results.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of three years’ experience closing business in a Life Safety related function, with a verifiable track record of accomplishment.
Minimum Of Two Years Successful Channel Partner Sales Experience.
Road Warrior – Ability and willingness to travel the territory (60%) to train, motivate and grow relationships with the channel partner network in the designated territory.
Bachelor's degree preferred; previous sales experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Good communication skills, customer service and presentation skills, and professional demeanor.
Self-motivated, positive attitude, very strong self-belief. Driven to succeed with minimal supervision from a remote home office.
Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
