What are the responsibilities and job description for the Institutional Assessment and Data Analyst position at LSU Health Sciences Center?
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Institutional Assessment and Data Analyst will provide support to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness on matters related to institutional assessment, data management and analysis. The Institutional Assessment and Data Analyst will support initiatives relevant to qualitative and quantitative data collection, management, analysis, and report writing. They will be responsible for assessment activities for the strategic and quality assessment plans that will enhance strategic decision making and drive institutional and student success. The Institutional Assessment and Data Analyst will be responsible for program assessment, tracking and report progress on Strategic Planning metrics and Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) goals and objectives. The incumbent will possess technical skills necessary to assess, diagnose and resolve data inconsistencies within programs and apply knowledge of best practices in assessment methodologies.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in assessment methodology, statistics, computer science, applied data science, information science, or related analytical field
and 3 years of related work experience
