POSITION: Engineer Level II
LOCATION: MacDill Air Force Base, FL
STATUS: Full time Contingent Hire
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Masters Degree in Engineering field
Experience: 5-12 years of related experience
Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements
Skills: Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently or with a team
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Client Familiarity: Some knowledge of USMC history, with specific knowledge of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) processes
Tools Familiarity: MS SharePoint.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Provide guidance to Junior Engineers.
Provide technical comments on performance specifications, test plans, test reports, security classification guides, diminishing manufacturing sources, material shortages, and obsolescence issues associated with programs.
Update Government System Engineering Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, and Program Protection Plans for programs.
Perform engineering support for planning, coordination, administration, execution, and equipment preparation to support all test activities, which include test data: collection, reduction, analysis, and reporting.
Research test methodologies and instrumentation in support of test programs to include laboratory tests, special investigations, and research.
Review, identify discrepancies and redline drawings for system drawings reviews.
Perform requirements analysis, requirements verification, functional analysis, functional and physical verification, performance verification, and systems analyses on programs and deliver an analysis and Recommendation Report.
Review, identify discrepancies and redline drawings for system drawings reviews.
Analyze factors and components of systems to recommend and institute changes to increase efficiency. Provide input and participate in program milestone reviews.
Examine and analyze current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements which will satisfy the total program need.
Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
Provide recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
