Job Summary
We are seeking a bilingual ( Chinese and english ) and a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, and technical accounting principles.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Maintain the general ledger by recording debits and credits accurately.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and analysis.
- Prepare financial reports and statements as needed for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage and QuickBooks for daily transactions and reporting.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage and QuickBooks.
- Experience with accounts payable processes and bank reconciliation is essential.
- Knowledge of budgeting practices and technical accounting standards is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
