Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records. Your expertise will contribute to improving the quality of life for our clients through targeted behavioral health strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the needs of clients and develop individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior modification strategies, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting interventions as necessary based on findings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to provide holistic support for clients.
- Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies and techniques to reinforce positive behaviors at home.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Provide training and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff members involved in client care.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health principles.
- Experience in patient care, particularly with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral therapy.
- Proficient in data collection methods and analysis relevant to behavior assessment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
