Associate Director - HR Business Partner - Employee Relations Manager
Location: Warren New Jersey
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee relations issues ensuring compliance with company policies and fostering a positive work environment This role requires strong interpersonal skills a deep understanding of employment laws and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters including conflict resolution disciplinary actions and performance management
• Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances and provide recommendations for resolution
• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and employment laws
• Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement and retention
• Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues and best practices
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases
• Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to employee relations and workplace policies
• Stay UpToDate with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure the company’s policies are compliant
• Oversee compliance function and ensure organization is aligned to federal and state regulation.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field
• 11-15 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Certification in HR eg SHRMCP PHR is a plus
