Summary
The Shop Assistant position requires a candidate with core skills in mechanical knowledge, manufacturing, and assembly. Premium skills in operating a forklift are also desired. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the shop area
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment for use
- Assist in the assembly and disassembly of products using power tools and hand tools
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
-Clean and maintain shop and facilities
-building and loading pallets
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Help fabricators and Shipping department as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working with power tools is preferred
-Interest in Performance automotive trucks and parts
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to handle and use hand tools effectively
- Basic knowledge of shop safety protocols
