Responsibilities
- Accurately input and update patient information in electronic medical records systems.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital medical records, ensuring they are easily accessible to authorized personnel.
- Review and verify the completeness of medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist healthcare providers with retrieving patient records as needed for treatment or administrative purposes.
- Respond to requests for medical records from patients, insurance companies, or other authorized entities while adhering to privacy laws.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding patient information.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on medical terminology and record management practices.
