The Master Data Specialist I is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Master Data that are fundamental to business processes in JD Edwards and related systems. They also provide quality control over the elements and guidance to ensure accurate and consistent data. The position has an impact on several corporate functions and gets involved in the work of many different departments throughout the organization
Master data quality and integrity
Process master data requests with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure timely setup of master data by actively liaising with business stakeholders.
Run requested data quality and data analysis requests or reports in support of customers, both internal and external.
Help to identify data cleansing opportunities.
Function as the material data accuracy and gatekeeper maintaining consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of material data during and after material creation.
Master Data creation and maintenance
Collect and validate data identified on requests for creation and maintenance.
Support ad hoc efforts to mass create or change master data in support of new product launches, business process changes, or other project work.
Process mass changes utilizing master data procedures.
Balance the incoming queue of new requests with unplanned needs to support Project and Launch deadlines.
Process Ownership & Improvement
Participate in testing and development of new tools and reports in support of data quality.
Identify and escalate any trends, gaps, and patterns with data requests or integrity.
Follow documented best practices.
Review and assess JDE modules for process improvement opportunities.
Ensure consistent communication of processes, policies and procedures is provided to all internal business partners.
Address and escalate concerns when expectations for the business surrounding master data management & integrity are not met.

Experience and / or Training : 0-2 years Data, Purchasing, Manufacturing, or related experience

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $25.89 and $32.98 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below :
