Accounts Receivable Specialist (greater Amarillo, TX area applicants only)

Overview

LubeZone, Inc. is a national provider of preventative maintenance solutions for the transportation industry. We are growing and looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team!

This is a temp-to-hire position, with an initial three-month term and potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

We are seeking a sharp, results-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in collecting payments efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a go-getter, someone who takes the initiative and can manage receivables with precision and urgency.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments.• Monitor customer accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.• Contact clients via phone, email, and other communication methods to secure outstanding balances.• Reconcile accounts, process payments, and resolve any discrepancies.• Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues.• Ensure accuracy of invoices being paid and compliance with company policies.• Maintain detailed and organized records of all collection efforts.• Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status to management. 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 2 years of experience. in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or related roles.• Strong ability to negotiate and secure payments effectively.• Excellent communication skills with a “shark-like” approach to collections.• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite. DropTop is a plus.• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.• Experience in the transportation or maintenance industry is a plus.

• Hourly Rate: based off of experience $19-$24 per hour

• Position Type: Temporary (3 months) with potential for full-time hire.• Location: Nashville, TN (Hybrid – Some onsite work required)
