What You'll Do:
- Master Financial Transactions: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all payments and invoices are handled with precision and accuracy.
- Streamline Operations: Review, verify, and reconcile invoices and payment discrepancies, optimizing our workflow to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Vendor & Client Relations: Build strong relationships with vendors and clients, ensuring timely payments and addressing any billing or invoicing questions with confidence.
- Financial Reporting: Assist with month-end closings, preparing reports that keep our leadership team informed and support decision-making.
- Monitor Cash Flow: Keep a close eye on the company’s cash flow, tracking payments and outstanding balances to maintain financial stability.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with project managers and other departments to ensure financial alignment on construction projects and business goals.
- Innovate & Improve: Look for opportunities to improve processes within accounts payable/receivable to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 2 years in accounts payable/receivable, preferably within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and proficiency with Netsuite accounting software
- Team Player Attitude: Ability to collaborate across departments, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Education: An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
