Overview
LubeZone is looking for a General Manager! This role will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and managing the store location in its day to day operations. Their duties include scheduling, managing inventory, ordering, receiving parts, meeting budget goals and customer service. The best candidate for this role would be one who is not afraid to get their hands dirty, be able to train new employees and assist with hiring new team members; Someone who is goal oriented, strong leadership qualities and shows care for the customers and staff.
Responsibilities
Responsible for day to day operations:
- Biweekly bank deposits
- Customer Service
- Inventory: Ordering & Receiving
- Support Team members with achieving business goals by building long-term relationships with customers and fleets.
- Ensure proper levels of business support and quality by managing Team schedules and reviewing services quality.
- Coach, mentor, and develop Teams and Teammates; Training and Recruiting great Team members
- Provide effective feedback through performance evaluations, lead Teammate development
- Provide oversight and direction to Teams and Teammates in accordance with ProFleet policies and procedures
- Must be experienced in Lube Technician positions
- Light Mechanical knowledge is a plus. This role will be 50% office and 50% shop - as needed.
- The GM will be expected to learn and then assist when coverage is needed for any department.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, related field, or related experience• 3 years’ experience in retail/store management, with a track record of increasing responsibility while building outstanding teams• Experience with class 6, 7, and 8 semi-truck preventative maintenance preferred• Excellent communication skills and conflict resolution ability• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
