What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Generator Division position at LUBY EQUIPMENT SERVICES?
Luby Equipment Services, is a growing, family-oriented company that recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary! Our company has grown to three divisions, construction, power generation, and oilfield division located in Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, and West Virginia. Our Generator Division is growing, so we need an experienced Project Manager that will oversee our residential and commercial projects from start to finish. Responsibilities will range from project planning and coordination to supporting the field service team. Come grow with us!
Responsibilities:
- Achieve the annual service sales objectives in new generator sales as well as maintenance contracts.
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Coordinate with Field Service Technicians, Service Coordinator, and Service Manager to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve challenges and maintain project quality.
- Develop strategies and tools for building existing business and acquiring new business.
- Review and monitor project progress, documentation, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Ensure sales order documentation is completed, accurate, and submitted in a timely matter.
- Promote a culture of safety and discipline through personal compliance, accountability, and communication.
- Attend training and sales meetings to stay current with equipment offerings and sales promotions.
- Experienced field professional with a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
- Proven experience in the electrical industry, with a background in both residential and commercial projects.
- Strong work ethic and team first mentality.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Computer literacy, Microsoft Office proficient, and CRM software experience.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
