Our company is seeking an experienced Dietary Supervisor for a long-term care facility in Syracuse, NY. This position is responsible for supervising the food and nutrition department under the direction of the Food Service Director. Supervision in long-term care or healthcare preferred.
Dietary Supervisor Key Duties
· Overall supervision of the kitchen during scheduled shift. Properly opens or closes the department as required.
· Ensures proper sanitation of the kitchen and equipment incompliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
· Ensured meal service times are on schedule.
· Performs other job-related duties.
Dietary Supervisor Requirements:
· Prior Supervisor experience.
· Certification in healthcare cooking – ServSafe
· Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to work as a team member.
