Position Summary: Work with VP of Brand to manage all aspects of the showroom, develop and implement marketing plans, to include PR and social, and providing general support as needed. Also support Regional Sales Director – Northeast to act as client liaison, showroom sample supervisor, attend trade shows, and other sales team related items.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Showroom:
- Ultimate responsibility for NYC showroom, to including managing schedule, sample and hospitality inventory, inventory and events
- Handle showroom visitors with guided tours and thank you note follow up. Schedule organize and make sales calls to key specifiers in the NY and East Coast region.
- Develop a general understanding of product knowledge.
- Manage showroom related issues, such as errors with installed product. Coordinate with HQ to remedy problem and serve as point person.
- Develop and maintain inventory of primary marketing materials.
- Coordinate internal and external events/visits/trade shows.
- Proactively respond to inquiries, letters, e-mails, phone calls and other communications.
- May Serve as Company representative at industry functions.
PR/Marketing:
- Support PR team initiatives, ranging from product launch campaigns to showroom activations
- Oversee social media calendar and posts
- Review media planned story calendars and preliminary communication with media representatives to generate interest in feature of Company new products and/or completed projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate to expert abilities in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint. General knowledge working in Adobe for graphic/photo illustration a plus.
- Very strong oral and written communication skills.
- Fast-paced and energetic
- Independent, self-starter
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in a compatible discipline (management, marketing, communications)
- At least 2 year work experience, 2 years preferred
