What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yacht Steward position at Lucky Lincoln Gaming?
We are seeking a polished, service-oriented Steward to join us on our yacht in Chicago this summer! This role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience through impeccable hospitality, corporate event planning, detailed presentation, and proactive service aboard our 68-foot yacht. The ideal candidate brings a refined sense of discretion, attention to detail, and a passion for luxury service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 5-star hospitality and personalized service to guests during charters, events, and private excursions
- Prepare and maintain guest areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Assist with food and beverage service, including meal preparation, table setting, bartending, and cleanup
- Maintain inventory and manage provisioning for guest supplies, linens, toiletries, and refreshments
- Event coordination and planning for corporate events as needed
- Work closely with the captain and crew to ensure seamless onboard operations and guest satisfaction
- Support docking procedures, safety drills, and basic onboard maintenance tasks as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in luxury hospitality, private service, or yachting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to anticipate guest needs
- Comfortable working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically fit and comfortable working on the water
- CPR/First Aid certification and STCW training (preferred but not required)
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly or salaried pay depending on experience
