Summary: The Chief Technology Officer will drive information technology and business applications at a strategic level across the organization. The CTO will partner with the other executive leaders to develop and implement the technology vision and strategy for Lucky Strike Entertainment. The CTO will be a big picture thinker who has a good understanding of emerging technologies and the ability to leverage appropriate solutions to improve operational efficiencies and/or enhance customer experience. The ideal individual will be a roll-up their sleeves leader that can balance a fast-paced environment with long-term planning. The CTO must currently reside or be willing to relocate to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale area. This role will require travel to Richmond, Virginia o ccasionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Business Review

  • 3 60 independent locations using PAR Technology POS and Microsoft Dynamics transaction CRM
  • JDE ERP
  • Internal IT department of 70 and Skunkworks IT department of 20
  • 1 3 ,000 employees

Management and Leadership

  • Responsible for the hiring, training, development, and supervision of staff
  • Provides training, guidance, and direction to staff to ensure work is performed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Strengthens internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Creates and promotes a positive and supportive work environment.

Technology Strategy and Vision

  • Develops and executes a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the organization’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Develops and provides strategic and technical direction related to product and technology development, including product and technology roadmaps, application architecture, and sourcing.
  • Conducts ongoing research to remain up to date regarding industry trends and emerging strategic technologies in anticipation of new processes and system alterations.
  • Drives adoption of leading technologies and digital solutions across the organization to improve operational efficiency.

Innovation and Digital Transformation

  • Identifies emerging technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our organization.
  • Determines the platform, infrastructure, and application architecture required to support enterprise initiatives and seamless patient experience.
  • Spearheads digital transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation across the organization.
  • Develops metrics to demonstrate the impact of technological changes.
  • Prioritizes time-to-market and product quality in development processes.

Infrastructure Management

  • Oversees the management of our IT infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and scalable to meet the growing demands of our organization.
  • Ensures the reliability and cost-effectiveness of our technology platform.
  • Implements leading practices for data storage, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Continuously enhances cybersecurity capabilities to combat emerging threats.

Data Management and Analytics

  • Leads efforts to collect, analyze, and leverage data to make informed decisions, improve customer and employee experience, and drive research and innovation.
  • Oversees data analytics to include leading efforts to drive automation and the use of machine learning, augmented and artificial intelligence platforms.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy and other regulations.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Champions behaviors that inspire cohesiveness and moving the organization to reach a shared vision.
  • Builds and leads a high-performing IT team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Holds direct reports accountable for achieving plans and performance targets, working with them to identify and resolve issues and problems affecting their areas.
  • Provides counsel, guidance, and direction as appropriate ; facilitates the involvement of staff and others with the required skills and expertise as needed.

Budget Management

  • Develops and manages the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact while ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability.
  • Communicates with employees and stakeholders to ensure technologies are meeting defined use cases and ROI promises.
  • Leverages technology evolution to meet new priority use cases and increase ROI impact.
  • Creatively solves technical problems in a cost-effective manner.

Qualifications

  • Strong decision-making skills with the capacity to prioritize effectively and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Experience with different software development methodologies and agile frameworks, leading high-performance software development and infrastructure teams.
  • Migration of infrastructure to private, public, and hybrid cloud.

Education And Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT leadership, including experience as a senior technology executive.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a hospitality or retail environment.
  • Experience leading IT teams in a multi-location environment.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

General office environment where you will walk, bend, and stand for periods of time.
