We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team.
Position Overview
As an Inside Sales Representative at Crown Matting, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with potential customers, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting our innovative matting solutions. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations while meeting or exceeding sales targets. This is a full-time, office-based position with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Prospecting
- Reach out to new and existing customers via phone, email, and other communication channels to promote Crown Matting products.
- Conduct proactive outbound calls to generate leads, qualify prospects, and schedule appointments for the outside sales team if necessary.
- Work with the marketing team to identify and target key industries and potential clients.
Customer Consultation
- Assist customers in selecting the right matting solutions based on their specific needs, applications, and budget.
- Provide detailed product information, pricing, and availability to ensure customer satisfaction and close sales.
Order Management
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
- Process orders, handle inquiries, and track progress of orders from initiation to delivery.
Relationship Building
- Maintain and nurture strong relationships with existing customers, offering support and solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and product issues with professionalism and urgency.
Sales Reporting
- Track sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system to ensure accurate sales reporting and follow-up.
- Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the outside sales team, product specialists, and customer service to ensure alignment and drive overall company growth.
- Share market insights and feedback to help improve products and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inside sales or a customer service/sales support role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage customers and build relationships effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A positive, proactive attitude with a strong desire to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Prior experience in industrial, commercial, or facility services industries is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Background check and drug test required.
