What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trade Compliance Officer position at Lufthansa Technik Component Services LLC.?
As the Trade Compliance Officer , you will perform the following duties :
- Maintain / update / develop export compliance processes and policies for LTCS contingent on the latest regulations changes
- Review and determine contracts to include export compliance requirements
- Conduct audits at all locations of all export related documents and policies as well as AES EEI filings and other export documentation for potential compliance gaps / risks and to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct export compliance trainings throughout LTCS
- Review US export licenses to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Remain current on all laws, regulations, and best practices for the trade and their impact on LTCS and operations
- Communicate with government agencies as required and mitigate any risks or penalties as needed
- All other duties as assigned or required
