What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support Engineer position at Lufthansa Technik Engine Services, Inc.?
Your main tasks include, among others :
- Technical advice for customer service
- Determine new requirements when creating work-scopes for customers and arrange for workshop compliant working documents
- Monitoring and assessing the operating behavior and results (technical and operational) of engines, modules, components and individual parts
- Cooperation with external WT departments such as flight operations, aircraft maintenance / overhaul, manufacturers, other airlines and customers in a supportive capacity
- Act as the central contact point for the individual production support units (PU) of an engine model and perform technical coordination
- Create "Released by" certificate as design engineer for the transferred CRAS motor sample
- Take on special tasks, work on or manage projects
- All other duties as assigned or required
