• High school diploma or GED required. Degree in culinary arts or hospitality preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in food preparation in a full-service restaurant setting
• 2 years’ experience in a leadership role relative to this position
  
  
  

Next up is responsibilities and duties of the Kitchen Supervisor:

• Daily operations of the kitchen department and the productivity of its staff
• Maintain a high standard of service efficiency and product quality that meets the expectations of guests
• Displays high-level of knowledge regarding company products and events.
• Oversees the opening and closing functions of the kitchen
• Ensures that the cleaning and sanitation standards of the department are maintained and enforced each shift
• Responsible for maintaining Health Inspection standards and prepares department to effectively meet such standards
• Ensures that crew members follow all recipes, cooking/holding procedures and portion servings correctly
• Ensures all prepped and cooked food items are properly labeled and stored
