Summary
Position Overview: Lumata Health, Inc. is a forward-thinking healthcare company dedicated to improving patient outcomes and providing exceptional healthcare services. We are seeking an experienced Salesforce DevOps Manager to establish and maintain our deployment pipeline, quality assurance processes, and release management for our Salesforce and AWS integrated solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing DevOps best practices to improve deployment frequency, reduce time to market, and ensure the stability of our Salesforce environments. This role offers the opportunity to shape our DevOps practices and significantly improve our delivery capabilities for Salesforce and AWS implementations, directly impacting business outcomes through more reliable and efficient technology delivery.
Essential Functions
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline for Salesforce development.
- Establish version control strategies and governance for Salesforce metadata.
- Utilize automated testing frameworks to ensure quality across environments.
- Manage environment strategy including sandboxes, testing, and production instances.
- Orchestrate release management process.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to maintain system health.
- Develop backup and recovery procedures to protect against data loss.
- Maintain security compliance and access control across environments.
- Document DevOps processes and provide training to development teams.
- Continuously optimize deployment processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate regression testing for Salesforce releases.
- Identify possible cross-functional impact/conflicts of different features.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent related experience.
- 3 years of experience in Salesforce administration or development (required).
- 3 years of experience with DevOps practices, preferably in Salesforce environments (required).
- 3 years of experience with DevOps platform (required).
- Prior use of Gearset is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, BitBucket, etc.) for Salesforce.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX and modern Salesforce deployment patterns.
- Background in implementing automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of data migration and metadata management.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working with cross-functional teams.
Physical Requirements
- Must have a home office or HIPAA-compliant workspace.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at the desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to hear, speak, call and virtually meet.
Work Environment
In order to perform the essential functions of this job, you must have a dedicated remote workspace, and a wireless connection with a minimum of 50 Mbps of download speed and 10 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth for each person working from home; the workspace is private and has low to no noise level as you will be on phone calls with patients. It is very important that your workspace is HIPAA compliant; your company issued laptop/pc must maintain visibility that only you can access as you'll be handling patient data. You are also expected to have your camera on during virtual meetings, therefore, you must be in a designated workspace/room for privacy.
