Description
Lume Consulting Group , a Sacramento based IT consulting company, is seeking a talented Lead Systems Administrator / Linux & VmWare, HyperV with one of our California States Clients.
Qualifications
Mandatory Qualifications :
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in each of the following :
- Systems design, maintenance, analysis, and testing.
- Complex technology implementations, with an eye toward consistent reengineering and refactoring.
- Implementing and supporting Microsoft Enterprise technologies (Windows Server, AD, etc.).
- Supporting and implementing Linux platform services.
- Architecture and implementation of applications in the cloud, On-premises, and hybrid environments (VmWare, HyperV, Containerized Services).
- Leveraging Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers and relevant services.
- Relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and “NoSQL” databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
- Continuous integration / deployment, and continuous monitoring solutions.
- Version control systems (e.g., Git and GitHub).
- Coordinating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Directing team members in compiling business requirements and executing project milestones.
- Documenting enterprise architecture infrastructure.
- Determining gaps between current and the target architecture and developing plans for transitioning to target architectures.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
