Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist for a seasonal, to assist with employee performance reviews, bonuses, and related disputes. This role will involve conducting investigations into employee performance issues, including discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace disputes. The ideal candidate will have strong HR and employee relations experience, along with a working knowledge of employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigatory Work: Assist in investigating employee disputes related to performance reviews, including issues of discrimination, retaliation, and performance challenges.
• Data Collection: Gather evidence, interview employees, and document findings, while partnering with a full-time employee (FTE) to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
• Handling Sensitive Situations: Manage interactions with emotionally charged employees, ensuring professionalism and confidentiality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, reporting directly to the Director of Employee Relations.
• Legal Knowledge: Apply knowledge of employment laws such as ADA, FMLA, and protections against discrimination and retaliation to investigations.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Business Partner (HRBP), or Employee Relations roles.
• Strong experience in employee performance review processes, particularly handling performance-related disputes and investigations.
• Familiarity with key employment laws (ADA, FMLA, discrimination, retaliation).
• Ability to manage emotionally charged situations with professionalism.
• Strong communication skills, including writing, grammar, and the ability to advocate and influence decisions.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Navex EthicsPoint (investigation tracking tool).
