- Architect and design scalable AI/ML and GenAI solutions leveraging AWS tools including SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, and EKS.
- Collaborate with data scientists, MLOps, and engineering teams to build and deploy models within secure and efficient environments.
- Develop end-to-end solutions that integrate AI/ML capabilities into legacy systems and modern microservices architectures.
- Provide architecture leadership and technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise AI/ML maturity goals.
- Ensure compliance with Responsible AI principles, data privacy, and security standards.
- Evaluate and recommend next-gen tools like Llama, Bedrock, Hugging Face, Databricks, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Guide and influence teams in AI/ML initiatives across business units.
- Lead model evaluation, tuning, and assessment activities to ensure business relevance and performance.
- Participate in architecture governance and continuous improvement of AI frameworks.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or related field.
- Strong experience in GenAI & Machine Learning solution architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS services - SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, EKS - and ability to present certifications as proof.
- Proficient in Java with experience in building and integrating backend services.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and scaling AI/ML solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with AI model evaluation, selection, and implementation.
- Located within 100 miles of Reston, VA - willingness to be onsite once a week.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, Airflow, and enterprise architecture tools (TOGAF, ArchiMate).
