Job Title: Programmer Analyst 3

Location: 100% Remote

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer Analyst 3 to join our team on a remote basis. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in data analysis, dashboard creation, and SQL, particularly those who have worked in educational settings or with Texas State agencies. The successful candidate will play a key role in working with education data and implementing data standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards using PowerBI (or similar dashboard applications).
• Utilize SAS for data analysis and reporting.
• Design, configure, and maintain Data Gateways to ensure seamless data integration.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret education data.
• Implement solutions using SmartSheets for project management and tracking.
• Apply ArcGIS for geographic data analysis and visualization.
• Ensure adherence to Ed-Fi data standards in educational data integration.
• Support the organization in the use of relational databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 years of experience working with PowerBI or other dashboard applications.
• 8 years of experience using SAS for statistical analysis and data reporting.
• 4 years of experience working with Data Gateways for data integration.
• 4 years of experience writing SQL queries.
• 4 years of experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• 2 years of experience using SmartSheets for project management.
• 2 years of experience working with ArcGIS for spatial data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience using Relational Databases for data management.
• 2 years of experience working with Education Data.
• 2 years of experience working with a Texas State Agency.
• 2 years of experience working with Ed-Fi Data Standard.

Highly Preferred:

• Prior experience with education data, particularly within a Texas State agency.

Familiarity with Ed-Fi Data Standards.
