The Role
The Director Business Operations role is responsible for supporting the product and marketing organization by providing visibility and operational support across senior executive’s entire scope via budget management, progress reporting, team metrics, performance indicators, financial results and forecasts. Position will also work cross-functionally with other operational and support groups to align on objectives and resourcing. This is a specialized role requiring deep understanding of metrics and analytics with a background in forecasting and trend analysis. Role will also act as Chief of Staff for the EVP CMO and team.
The Main Responsibilities
INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND COMMUNICATION
• Develop and refine management system to ensure visibility by consistent monitoring of the business objectives, including all key leading indicators, from a financial and operational perspective
• Leading the CMO Board of Director's workstream - Lead and coordinated the assimilation and creation of Strategy presentations and content and monthly and quarterly dashboards
• Develop key messages and presentations for EVP CMO for internal and external audiences, including town halls and leadership off-sites that provide linkage between with prescribed business objectives
• Coordinate C-level deliverables – Earnings, C-Level Requests, ad-hoc requests to support product initiatives
• Develop and produce monthly and ad-hoc analysis for internal constituents and have oversight for reporting cadences
• Provide oversight of, and creation of linkages, for cross- functional projects, initiatives and efforts across the senior leadership team
STRATEGY, SUPPORT, AND PLANNING
• Partner with Product Leadership team to identify, design, implement and lead strategic projects
• Working with Product Leadership and product teams on strategic planning which includes responsibility for fiscal year planning and forecasting
• Oversee and manage $150M annual staffing and operating expense budget ensuring we meet or exceed the plan
• Track and analyze all operational expense data to identify trends, make resource recommendations on status, alignment, role, etc.
AD HOC PROJECT LEADERSHIP
• Both lead, and participate in, various cross-functional projects including current run-the-business initiatives, new business ventures, client projects, large partnerships and others as assigned
What We Look For in a Candidate
• 10 years of related experience, 5 years management experience
• Recognizable as a leader by possessing outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with a broad set of executives and constituencies
• Strong business acumen
• Strong results orientation with demonstrated track record of success
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and independent environment
• Ability to build and sustain high performing teams
• Experience in liaising with multiple operational contacts at executive and senior management levels

• Experience working for publicly held, US owned, global corporation
• Ability to support multiple locations

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
