Primary Function :
Perform as the Opto-Mechanical Engineer in a dynamic, highly interactive sustaining engineering role. Foster and develop good working relationships with product team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues in creative, practical ways for support of manufactured medical devices / lasers and respective packaging.
- Exercise experience and judgment on existing products.
- Root cause analysis and resolution
- Document processes as required by Standard Operating Practices to include MFG work instructions, testing instructions, etc...
- Support selection and / or design of equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
- Interact with senior internal and external personnel.
- Normally receive little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
- Help train and give guidance to other Lumenis employees.
- Other duties as assigned.
