Responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and specifically Hurst Boiler, Industrial Combustion burners, Oilon burners and Siemens Combustion controls products, to develop proposals and sales opportunities while cultivating and maintaining customer relationships. clients.
Responsibilities
· Sales responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting and working closely with current and new customers to ensure a clear understanding of needs and requirements.
· Meet with selected engineering firms to promote boiler and burner products.
· Networking and educating decision makers with current and new customers in the market regarding MSS, the products we represent, and the services we provide.
· Account management responsibilities include a strong understanding of customer issues, expectations, and needs; self-starter to go “above and beyond” for customers; develop and maintain long lasting relationships.
· Organizing, estimating, submitting, and following up on RFPs, estimates, and proposals.
· Reviewing estimates and proposals with the boiler sales manager prior to submitting.
· Working with project managers to coordinate turnover meetings and manage the transition from sales to execution and completion of the projects.
· Taking ownership in making sure responsibilities are completed in a professional and timely manner; maintaining superior customer service; sustaining high integrity in work ethic.
· Managing and administering the sales process from beginning to completion, ensuring customers efficiently move through the process from initial meeting to approval and contract execution.
· Ability and willingness to learn and understand boilers, combustion equipment, steam and hydronics systems.
· Infrequent travel may be required to neighboring states.
Qualifications
· 2 to 5 years of industry experience with boilers, hydronics, and mechanical systems related work.
· Industry relationships and network.
· Proven history of increasing revenue through customer service and development.
· Excellent oral & written communication skills with exceptional negotiation skills.
· Competency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and scheduling programs.
· Ability to understand and conceptualize customer requirements and needs.
· Outstanding presentation skills with ability to present a compelling overview to customers at all levels of an organization.
