Description
Manage, direct and coordinate overall program operations for individuals receiving community-based services. This Manager will be responsibility for services in assigned geographic territory. Ensure operations are in compliance with agency policies and all regulatory requirements. Ensure fiscal responsibility by managing within assigned budget. Supervise and train all staff, including delegating and monitoring tasks assigned to Program Coordinators. Promote community awareness of agency services. Ensure the development and implementation of vocational, volunteer, and recreational activities that are person-centered and promote positive outcomes for persons served. Provide the environment and supports necessary to promote appropriate social skills and positive behaviors that will enhance skills, enrich lives, and foster community presence and participation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Direct and coordinate the overall operations for individuals receiving group, employment, and recreational services in specified programs to ensure compliance with all agency policies and regulatory requirements.
· Provide overall supervision of assigned staff by ensuring effective onboarding, training, scheduling, delegation of tasks and performance evaluation.
· Oversee the development, implementation and quality of service activities that are person-centered and promote positive outcomes for vocational and/or social goals. Ensure the needs of individuals are met and the necessary supports are provided to meet individual outcomes.
· Assist in the development of assigned budget(s) and monitor expenses to assure budget compliance and fiscal accountability.
· Handle employee relation issues as needed, including meeting with and coaching employees, interviewing and monitoring employee performance.
· Actively participate in activities that promote agency mission and strategic plan.
· Ensure timely completion of all required and requested reports and requests for information.
· Review and approve employee timecards as assigned on a weekly basis.
· Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, funders and all other stakeholders.
· Promote an atmosphere of safe working conditions and practices to ensure the health, safety and well-being of staff and persons served.
· Identify, and evaluate program supports and accommodations for efficacy.
· Willing and able to assist with an individual’s support needs in a respectful and professional manner when necessary.
· Attend and at times run monthly management meetings and other meetings as required.
· Meet monthly with individuals and staff for wellness check ins throughout assigned service area.
· Ensure accurate and timely completion of billing, attendance and other similar financial duties as required.
· Generate, compile and maintain all required documentation and case files. Write and submit professional quality reports in a timely manner.
· Attend outside stakeholder trainings to gain current experience and knowledge pertaining to the field
· Assist with new intake and internal stakeholder program changes
· Must be comfortable covering program hours with individuals in the community with personal car to meet program needs
· Other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate: $60,000 annually
Hours: M-F Full Time
Location: Westbrook, CT
Requirements
· Bachelor degree in related field preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
· 5 years of experience in providing employment supports to adults with intellectual disabilities would be considered in lieu of a degree.
· Minimum of five years of experience in related field.
· Minimum of two years in a supervisory or management capacity.
· Ability to manage a budget, experience preferred.
· Must possess a valid Connecticut driver’s license, have an acceptable driving history and be able to utilize your own vehicle for Lumibility business as defined by Lumibility’s policy.

· Ability to read and understand budgets and financial information
· Ability to attend to the physical and personal needs of adults with differing abilities
· Ability to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills necessary to provide guidance and instruction to adults with significant challenges
· Ability to use adaptive and other equipment
· Ability to work successfully, both independently and in a team environment

· Ability to work flexible hours and travel to varying locations as needed
