Ideal Candidate for the Position: We're seeking individuals who are strong willed, strive for excellence and demonstrate strong leadership skills. Those who have mastered salesmanship and have the ability to problem solve with a positive attitude and dynamic personality. They must have high level of interpersonal management skills. They are self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task and are excellent communicators. Preferably someone who has had previous automotive sales and management experience in New and/or Pre-Owned sales.
AUTOMOTIVE SALES MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- 4 years previous Franchise Automotive Sales Manager Experience.
- 4 years focus on desking with knowledge of lender programs.
- Must be a strong closer and willing to engage early with the customers.
- Must be willing and able to overcome objections by demonstrating the value presented in the offer.
- Outstanding communicator.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage sales metrics and sales representatives.
- Wants to share in our company’s success growth.
- Hires, trains, and monitors team member performance.
- Resolves customer complaints.
- Strong business acumen and sales aptitude.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Train sales team to become subject matter experts on all vehicles and services offered.
- Establish sales quotas for each sales representative and provide continuous feedback in order to manage to overall sales goals.
- Recognize the skills and goals of each of your team members and work with them to build a development plan.
- Analyze and track sales performance to meet targets.
- Develop viable sales forecasts and associated sales strategies.
- Partner with other team members and leadership to delegate shared tasks and responsibilities, meeting customer and company needs.
- Contact and meet with customers and potential customers on a daily basis.
- Possess a proven ability to build, cultivate and sustain a values-centered team of highly successful sales professionals.
- Demonstrate a strong and loyal work ethic that includes a high sense of drive, urgency and desire for continuous improvement.
- Solve problems and work to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Recruit professional sales representatives.
- Reflect a contagious and positive personality that motivates and aligns with an intense entrepreneurial culture at Lumin Auto Group.
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation/closing skills.
- Understand and execute all administrative responsibilities including but not limited to deal documentation and cash handling, meeting company provided expectations.

Additional Position Details:
- Minimum of 4 years of Franchise automotive sales management experience required!
- Applicant must have proven and successful sales management experience at a reputable automotive dealership.
- Schedule includes rotating days, evenings, and weekends.
- This is a full-time position opportunity.
- We utilize state of the art technology and require all sales professionals to utilize our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System.
- Candidate must have a sales license and a good driving record (not more than 2 points).
