The Associate Brand Manager works under direct supervision and follows company and department policies and procedures to oversee dynamic brand and product portfolios. Responsibilities include auditing client brands and portfolios, capitalizing on growth, advertising, monitoring project progress, and planning. They will follow standard practices and procedures to assist clients with marketing and advertising strategies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Using company and department practices and procedures, oversees and assists with client-specific projects throughout the digital lifecycle, including selecting/assigning resources, monitoring project progress, and ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Shadows other team members to gain hands-on experience in developing and executing comprehensive advertising and growth strategies.
- Conducts comprehensive audits to identify and capitalize on client growth opportunities. Discusses inconsistencies, possible causes, and solutions with the manager to ensure alignment with client and company requirements.
- Helps create an established client marketing and advertising strategy to achieve desired outcomes. Collaborates with internal teams to ensure all deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Works with internal teams to maintain and optimize product listings, ensuring accurate customer-facing information and content and adhering to Amazon and company compliance best practices.
- Follows company and industry standards to create and present tailored results for assigned clients, monthly and/or quarterly, or as needed, via Google Slides presentation.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Maintains or exceeds department-established performance standards and KPIs.
- Continues to learn industry trends and strategies and apply department training subjects according to standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Up to two years of experience in brand management, with specific expertise in Amazon account management (agency experience preferred) or related roles.
- An understanding of e-commerce platforms, notably Amazon, including best practices, trends, and the ability to leverage the platform (SEO/copy, A content, and Stores) for brand growth and visibility.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics, with keen attention to detail, and the capacity to craft compelling narratives and strategies based on data insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, Asana, Helium 10, or similar software.
- Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering exceptional service and results.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and strategies. Proven presentation skills for engaging and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
