Job Title: Clinical Director

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate clinical departments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, focusing on delivering compassionate care.
- Uphold and promote Luminos Hospice’s administrative policies and philosophy to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Lead the development and assignment of hospice personnel qualifications, fostering a supportive and knowledgeable team environment.
- Supervise clinical staff to ensure adherence to individualized Plan of Care, timely assessment, and continuity of services.
- Oversee the QAPI Program, implementing corrective actions to maintain our high standards of care.
- Educate and support compliance with fiscal intermediary and third-party payor requirements to optimize reimbursement.
- Contribute actively as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), assisting in care plan development and participating in QAPI initiatives.
- Monitor operational systems, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with mandatory continuing education requirements and licensing board standards.
- Promote infection control measures and standard precautions to safeguard patients and team members.
- Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and achieve positive outcomes.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current state RN license or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Valid Driver’s License required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year (two years preferred for ACHC Accreditation) of recent hospice or home care experience as a registered nurse. Prior management experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Proficient nursing skills aligned with accepted standards of practice. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Strong decision-making capabilities essential.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification required if patient visits are part of duties.
- Transportation: Reliable vehicle with current auto liability insurance.
