Lumos Data is a SaaS fintech company that serves small business lenders. We provide data and predictive risk modeling solutions that empower lenders to confidently approve more loans, while reducing risk. Reporting to the Director of Revenue, we are seeking an experienced account executive at Lumos Data to develop and close new enterprise accounts in the target markets of SBA lenders, conventional small business lenders, credit unions, and non-bank lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full enterprise sales cycle: Focus on driving deals from sourcing prospects to closing accounts, specifically targeting small business lenders and other fintech partnerships in the same small business ecosystem.
- Sell Consultatively: Communicating directly with potential customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products and services that provide value.
- Achieve quarterly sales targets: Through inbound and outbound calls, social media, site visits, attending industry events and conferences, following up on leads, and closing deals.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Lumos Data's offerings, including credit risk assessment tools, data-driven insights, and industry-specific information.
- Collaborate with the Customer Experience Team: This role will work closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure high renewal rates and to develop upsell opportunities.
- Market Awareness: Keep up to date with competitive products, new offerings, and industry trends.

Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a fintech B2B sales role, and/or have sales experience in the small business lending space.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Deep Understanding of the Fintech Landscape:
- Knowledge of financial markets, regulations, and trends is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with concepts like APIs, cloud computing, and data analytics.
- Awareness of emerging technologies like AI, specifically machine learning, to be viewed as a trusted advisor.
- Strong Enterprise Consultative Selling Skills:
- Ability to understand complex needs, listen carefully, ask insightful questions, and understand the client's unique challenges.
- Can challenge the status quo
- Navigate stakeholders, champions, and decision makers to reach a deal.
- Identify pain points and propose solutions.
- Translate complex technical ideas into easy-to-understand concepts.
- Data-Driven:
- Proficiency in CRM Tools - Experience with CRM systems like Hubspot for managing leads, tracking progress, and analyzing sales data.
- Analytical Skills - The ability to analyze data and identify trends to optimize their strategies and target the right prospects.

- Established network in the financial industry is a significant plus.
