Athletics Coordinator, Park & Recreation
This is a full-time benefited position and is responsible for coordinating the activities of all athletic programs, fields, and sports facilities. Must be flexible in times, hours, and days of week worked to include weekends. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to providing bi-weekly work schedule for all athletic support staff; understanding and following athletic governing agencies (e.g., GRPA, MAC, MFL, etc.) policies, procedures, and rules and assuring rules are followed by coaches, umpires, players, and all others for all athletic events; preparing advanced plan (90 days before new season starts) for each new athletic season (e.g., football, baseball/softball, soccer, basketball, etc.); handling customer complaints; ensuring uniforms and equipment are ordered and available on time; hosting sports tournaments; managing all post season team, games, and tournaments; scheduling practices and games and more.
