Luna Data Solutions has an immediate contract position opening (contract term approximately 9 months, with possible extension) for a Project Manager resource with our client located in Austin, TX. *This is a hybrid role in which this resource will work TWO days/week onsite. Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.
Role: Project Manager
Role Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, requirements gathering, business analysis, specifications development, project planning, project monitoring, and project status reporting, and system implementation of moderate to complex business solutions as it pertains to existing renewable energy programs and renewable energy programs currently under development.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in Business or Management, Engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or management information systems
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI
- 4 to 7 years of demonstrated experience implementing IT/OT enterprise application projects
- 4 to 7 years of experience in project procurement / RFP development / bid evaluation
- 4 to 7 years of demonstrated application of project management techniques, WBS (work breakdown structure) development, and coordination of people and resources
- 4 to 7 years of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio, WebEx
- 4 to 7 years of proficiency in change management methodologies
- 4 to 7 years of proficiency in presenting to multiple levels within an organization
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading projects related to photovoltaics
- Experience in developing and managing remote teams
- Experience with utility business practices and relevant business needs
- Experience with working with a government entity
