Veterinary Nurse - At Home End Of Life Care - Part Time To Start (1-3 days/wk)

Immediate Need For Wednesdays, Weekends, and Potentially Tuesday.

The Company

Luna Veterinary Care specializes in at-home end of life care (quality of life assessment, at-home euthanasia, and veterinary hospice). We strive to take care of veterinarians, clients, and our staff with equal care and effort.

The Role

You’ll be an integral part of the Phoenix market for Luna as one of our Veterinary Assistants. Your focus will primary be field operations. You absolutely love animals, are empathetic and understanding, and want to help out clients who may be in a rightfully emotional state.

Field Operations
We’re an at-home service, so you and a Veterinarian will partner up and attend all appointments in various in home environments within the Phoenix Metro area. At the appointments, you’ll be expected to:

• Assist the Veterinarian with any preparation for the appointment
• Facilitate signing of consent forms and payment authorizations
• Help transport the pet to our vehicle if we are assisting with cremation and aftercare
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Interact with grieving clients
• Expectation of no more than 6 appointments per day (more can be added with your permission)
