Position: Assistant Volleyball Coach
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience coaching club volleyball.
- Competitive playing experience in high school or club volleyball.
- A strong alignment with LVA’s core values and philosophy.
- Willingness to undergo screening and background checks.
- Submission of a volleyball-specific resume (general resumes will not be considered).
- Two personal and two professional references.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist head coaches with training sessions, drills, and game preparation.
- Support the head coach in maintaining positive player-parent dynamics.
- Act as a liaison between players, parents, and the head coach for communication.
- Follow the head coach’s direction to fulfill team needs and foster a positive environment.
- Attend all required club events, including tryouts, clinics, parent meetings, and coaches’ training.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and respect within the team.
Schedule:
- Practices are typically held twice a week, Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM, with occasional Friday sessions (5:00 PM–8:00 PM).
- Attendance at tournaments, tryouts, and other club activities is required.
