We are seeking an HR Generalist to coordinate and administer the daily functions of the HR department. This role involves working closely with department managers to recruit, onboard, and support employees while ensuring compliance with policies and employment regulations.
- Interpret, maintain, and administer company policies and procedures.
- Recruit, screen, and interview applicants, coordinating with hiring managers.
- Conduct post-offer, pre-employment screenings and follow up on results.
- Organize new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and track annual training and certifications, scheduling renewals as needed.
- Represent KLT at career fairs and community events.
- Support employee relations, development, coaching, and payroll processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of HR experience; SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and prioritize effectively.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to sit for extended periods.
- Frequent use of hands for handling objects and controls.
