The successful candidate will be responsible for any ongoing design and implementation, subsequent management, configuration, and continuous improvement of our Yardi system. Yardi supports our multifamily property management and property accounting function (and in future phases this year; our asset management, job cost/redevelopment and investor relations functions). This will include collaborating with various departments to ensure the effective use of Yardi Solutions and its alignment with our business objectives. This role is critical in ensuring that our Yardi application and ecosystem are optimized to meet the needs of our business stakeholders and end-users.

Key Responsibilities:
Yardi Implementation and Training
- 2024/2025 Yardi Implementation Project. Lead in design, planning and implementation of all future Yardi modules including collaborating with non-Yardi modules interfacing with Yardi.
- Contribute full time to the 2025 implementation phases of the Yardi platform at LURIN, collaborating with any external implementation consulting team and internal cross-functional teams.
- Help develop and deliver end user training on and support adoption of the platform as part of the transition to Yardi.
- Manage the day-to-day configuration, support, and maintenance of Yardi and its ecosystem of applications.
- Ensure the system is optimized for performance, reliability, and usability.
- Help document and maintain user manuals, configuration guides and associated business process flow.
- Provide expert guidance on Yardi functionalities, customization options, and best practices for efficient property management / property accounting processes.
- Continuously assess and optimize Yardi system performance and functionality.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline operations.
- Collaborate with IT and Yardi support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Provide expert guidance on Yardi functionalities, customization options, and best practices for efficient property management/property accounting processes.
- Continuously assess and optimize Yardi system performance and functionality.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline operations.
- Develop and manage the innovation roadmap for the Yardi ecosystem.
- Stay updated with the latest Yardi features and industry trends to ensure our system remains cutting-edge.
- Lead and maintain a steering committee with business stakeholders across the enterprise.
- Facilitate regular meetings to gather feedback, prioritize initiatives, and communicate system changes and updates.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of integrations between Yardi and other business systems.
- Manage Yardi report development, system customizations, and enhancements based on business needs.
- Maintain relationships with Yardi vendors and stay informed about updates, patches, and new features.
- Coordinate with vendors for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Oversee the smooth operation of help desk tickets related to Yardi and related applications.
- Coordinate with the IT support team (whether internal or external) to ensure timely resolution of issues and user concerns.
- Own and maintain a backlog of business system project initiatives.
- Prioritize projects based on business needs, resource availability, and strategic alignment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data security standards.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data stored in Yardi applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Real Estate Management, or equivalent job experience.
- 5-10 years’ experience in managing Yardi systems.
- Experience implementing the Yardi platform in the multifamily space required.
- Yardi Certified Professional (YCP) certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of multifamily property management operations, property accounting, asset management and property renovations/development.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Robust knowledge of Yardi software and its various modules.
- Experience working with an end user ticketing system (Zendesk, Zoho, Fresh Desk, etc.) preferred
- Proficiency in database management and SQL.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and provide user support.
- Demonstrated capability to manage third-party support of Yardi (future).
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
