Sr. Level Oracle DBA with SQL Server Experience. This is a Development DBA as there is no current environment so they will be building it from scratch to bring over the Carve Out . If you find a Lead Oracle DBA.
Seeking an experienced Oracle DBA with strong SQL Server expertise to join our team. This role is integral to building and developing the database environment for the carveout and ensuring the stability scalability and performance of the database systems. Candidates with WebLogic experience will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities :
Design implement and manage Oracle and SQL Server database systems to support the carveout environment.
Perform database tuning optimization and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain database scripts procedures and related documentation.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and implement database solutions aligned with project goals.
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies for database systems.
Monitor database systems for performance and capacity addressing issues proactively.
Support database migrations upgrades and patches as required.
Leverage WebLogic expertise (if applicable) to support application server environments.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an Oracle DBA with expertise in SQL Server database administration.
Handson experience in database architecture backup / recovery and high availability solutions.
Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Experience with database migrations and working in carveout or similar transitional projects is a plus.
Familiarity with WebLogic application server administration is a strong advantage.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic collaborative environment.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
