Job Description
Luth Research seeks a Research Analyst who can be involved in all aspects of coordinating and executing survey-based research projects, from assistance with research design, developing questionnaires, managing data collection and quality controls, analysis/reporting, as well as contributing to any weekly client calls/updates. The Research Analyst is responsible for working closely with the Research Managers and SVP Research to develop high quality strategic reports and presentations to inform business decisions and strategic planning for our clients.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily tasks such as scheduling, project planning, survey creation and testing, qualitative research setup, fieldwork monitoring, data analysis, coding, and report preparation.
- Assist in developing market research proposals and cost estimates by assessing client needs and objectives to determine suitable methodologies and approaches.
- Design sampling strategies and questionnaires that align with research goals.
- Manage all research project components from initiation to completion, collaborating with internal teams on scheduling, survey programming, quality assurance, data processing, and final reporting.
- Maintain high standards for quality and ensure all project phases are completed on time.
- Contribute to the development of analysis frameworks, including table and banner plans.
- Apply foundational statistical and data processing concepts, such as variable relationships, data filtering, and significance testing.
- Support the preparation of final reports by handling data organization, analysis, and editorial contributions.
- Supervise relationships with external vendors for outsourced research tasks.
- Strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and prompt delivery of research findings.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations as required.
- Manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Exhibit professionalism, a proactive approach to learning, and strong teamwork skills while embracing challenges that contribute to the company's reputation and growth.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Senior Vice President

- Accessibility: Must be able to access and function within areas key to productivity. Adequate manual dexterity to operate assigned and shared office equipment. Ability to travel on periodic overnight and extended stays, and work extended hours when necessary.
- Communications: Must speak clearly and fluently to communicate on a wide range of topics. Above average reading comprehension, and grammatically correct written communication skills. Must have the ability to understand and respond intelligently to business correspondence. Interpersonal skills as needed to persuade, manage conflict, debate and negotiate. Response to pressure should be calm and reasonable.
- Technical: Must demonstrate a high proficiency in understanding and working with basic software and computer skills, to include Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Judgment: Comprehension of job requirements and procedures. Can initiate and perform work assignments under minimal supervision that may be broad, varied, and complex in nature. Employee must have the ability to use educated and intuitive judgment to make decisions.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work in a shifting environment with ability to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate.

Qualifications
Education, Experience & Skills:
- BS Degree or equivalent work related experience.
- 2 years working in the market research industry (supplier side experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience in designing and implementing market research studies
- Understanding of statistical analysis and research methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Excited about combining behavioral and survey data to tell a holistic story
- Experience with questionnaire design, working with data tables and report writing
- Strong organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize own workload.
- Knowledge of SPSS a plus; strong MS Office skills
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work some nights and weekends..
