POSITION SUMMARY: The Healthy Relationships Group Facilitator / Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing counseling/psychotherapy to various groups, children, families, and adults. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate records, relating to other staff in a supportive manner, recommending and carrying out agency policies, remaining professionally current, facilitating / cofacilitating Healthy Relationships groups, and representing the agency in the community.
**This is a part time position working approx 10 hours per week**
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS GROUP FACILITATOR:
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current counseling certification and licensing in the state of Oregon, or making progress toward securing an Oregon license. Must have a current driver’s license, car insurance, and access to a vehicle.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS GROUP FACILITATOR:
- Facilitate groups of clients who are court mandated, have criminal charges, have ODHS Child Welfare involvement, and are experiencing mental health conditions
- Provide culturally mindful / trauma informed mental health treatment services to victims of violence including adults, children, youth, and families
- Provide reunification work when appropriate and requested
- Conduct Domestic Violence and Anger Management specific evaluations and mental health assessments
- Diagnose client problems utilizing the most current DSM format and formulate treatment plans
- Complete necessary case notes and records to document assessment & client progress
- Utilize and provide consultation to community resources when appropriate
- Coordinate and collaborate care with client referents and other community partners
- Represent the agency in the community
- Provide culturally mindful mental health treatment services to children, youth, and families experiencing mental health conditions
- Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to determine treatment needs
- Diagnose utilizing most current DSM format
- Facilitate consumer participation in the development of treatment plans based on consumer strengths
- Maintain timely case notes and records in alignment with the agency’s documentation standards
- Apply evidenced-based practices in treatment
- Collaborate with consumer supports, including family members, partner agencies, and others as indicated on an ongoing basis
- Must have good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Must have mature work habits with the ability to work without supervision
- Must be able to work in a multicultural setting
- Requires strict adherence of HIPAA standards in the office workspace to ensure confidentiality
