Position Summary:
- The Supervisor, Community Education and Wellness, leads the design, development, and evaluation of educational programs and initiatives. As the primary supervisor for all staff-level programmatic roles, this position is responsible for ensuring that our educational offerings are current, engaging, and effectively reach our target audiences.
Job Duties:
- Lead the design and execution of educational programs, ensuring alignment with the agency’s mission and community needs.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of training sessions, both in large group settings and individualized consultations.
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, and implementation of training sessions, workshops, and webinars using standardized protocols.
- Conduct training sessions, presentations, and program events, both in-person and virtually, as needed.
- Collaborate with internal staff to ensure materials are accurate, engaging, and relevant.
- Supervise, mentor, and support education staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
- Monitor staff performance and program outcomes, making improvements as necessary.
- Represent the agency at community events, conferences, meetings, and outreach activities to promote programming and establish and/or nurture strategic partnerships.
- Serve as a liaison between the agency and external partners to facilitate collaborations and program expansion.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of educational programs, using data and feedback to make necessary adjustments.
- Analyze participant feedback and program metrics to enhance program impact.
- Identify opportunities to integrate new research and best practices into programming.
- Provide data and impact reports to support grant applications and funding proposals.
- Perform other job-related duties as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support education staff and foster teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written communication for training facilitation, program materials, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to develop and sustain community relationships with schools, community organizations, and other agencies.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative software.
- Awareness and sensitivity of our constituents and the populations served by employees.
- Regular and predictable attendance, and promptness for work.

Education and Experience:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Communications, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience in staff supervision, program management, and/or community outreach.
- Public speaking and/or training facilitation experience, preferably with youth and/or families.
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of liability auto insurance, and ability to drive a personal vehicle on a daily basis for agency business.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Company-issued laptop and cell phone.
- In-office and in-community work environment, with occasional remote opportunities.
- Ability to travel for various presentations and outreach events.
- Flexible work schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, as required.
