Summary
Under general supervision of the IT Desktop Director, loads, configures, tests and maintains all workstation-based hardware and software for assigned communities; Supports and coordinates upgrades of low voltage systems including: telephone switches and desktop equipment and other hardware and software systems that support business functions; Ensures appropriate security for software systems and implements workstation-related policies of network management.

Responsibilities
1. Configures, installs, and maintains computer systems, associated software, peripherals and network related devices, including VOIP Phones
2. Provides excellent customer technical support to end-users for hardware, software, application systems, and network connectivity related incidents and requests
3. Configures computers for new hires and provides basic computer related training
4. Conducts a review of existing computer hardware for annual lifecycle of aged devices
5. Participates in projects as assigned
6. Provides IT support to residents to include but not limited to desktops, laptops, printers, connectivity, and mobile devices
7. Assists network staff in troubleshooting network issues as required
8. Implements HIPAA required policies; Maintains the confidentiality of all pertinent resident, employee and company information to assure their privacy is protected
9. Provides first level support for communication technology related systems to include but is not limited to the following: Telephone System Equipment, LSS Resident PC’s, Time clocks, Access Control System, Security Camera System, Meal Order and Accounting System, Shared laptops, Conference Room and A/V Equipment, Nurse Call System, etc.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
3 years of field experience with work-station hardware and software including configuring, imaging, troubleshooting and repair
Excellent problem - solving skills with the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Knowledge of network application and systems, LAN and WAN technology, and Microsoft software.
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a passion for Information Technology and continued learning and growth.

A well-lighted and ventilated working area that has its own temperature control system (air conditioning and heat). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull 150 lbs. on wheels. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is willing to work beyond normal working hours, when needed. Required to travel from community to community. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Appropriate ergonomic and personal safety equipment is provided as needed.
