LSI is looking for a driven, passionate, self-motivated professional to work full-time as a Host Home Program Coordinator for our Host Homes Program to service the Central & Southwest Iowa counties. (Location for this position would be in the Des Moines area or in Central / Southwest Iowa region for services.)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a program that connects adults with intellectual disabilities and chronic mental illness with a Host Home. LSI is looking for someone to market the program and have a community outreach focus to expand the program. Office location of this position can be flexible for the right candidate within the service area.
This postion will encompass the following counties : Polk, Dallas, Madison, Warren, Harrison, Shelby, Audubon, Guthrie, Adair, Cass, Pottawattamie, Mills, Montgomery, Adams, Union, Clarke, Lucas, Wayne, Decatur, Ringgold, Taylor, Page, Fremont
Duties
The Host Homes Program Coordinator (HHC) oversees the implementation of best practices by providing guidance to the independent contractors and ensuring compliance with the signed contract. The HHC oversees recruitment of the independent contractors, referrals, and the matching process of the clients and the independent contractors. The HHC participates as a member of the team; fostering an environment which supports individuals in pursuit of their hopes, dreams and personal outcomes. The HHC manages multiple HH's and ensures quality services are delivered to the individuals we support. The HHC will be part of an on-call rotation. The HHC is involved in marketing the program to both potential providers as well as referral sources in their service area in order to optimize the growth of the program.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business, Marketing, or Advertising or a related field with 3 years of experience in outreach, sales, business development or human services or an equivalent combination of experience. Preferred candidates will in addition possess one year of supervisor and / or leadership experience.
This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record, and the ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and the criminal history check.
Salary : $39,000 - $41,000
