LSSI is hiring a part-time Accounting Clerk, 3 days a week. Responsible for performing accounting tasks such as data entry of transactions, reconciling bank statements, processing invoices and payments, and ensuring proper filing of accounting document.
Onsite: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

Essential Functions:
- Perform data entry of invoices and journal entries.
- Assist with financial statement preparation, including review and explanations.
- Account reconciliations-banks, fixed assets, and prepaids.
- Perform GL maintenance, including posting journal entries and running reports.
- Assist the Accounting Team and Controllers with month end close.
- Provide support during audits by gathering documents and performing data analysis.
- Research accounting issues and analyze financial data.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, collaborative organizations and/or individuals in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Enrolled in college, bachelor of accounting or related field a preferred.
- Experience using an accounting software preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel required.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of accounting principles (based on accounting courses completed).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team as well as strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Good organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software.
